Director of Radiology Education Asia
Dr Ravi Padmanabhan is the Director of Radiology Education Asia which focuses on Radiology Education particularly in Spine and Musculoskeletal Imaging. He has been training registrars and running hands on radiology educational workshops for radiologists in multiple countries spanning Australia, SE Asia, South Asia and Middle East. The mode of teaching centres on learning practical, workstation based, hands on skills to assess and report scans.
He is also a Visiting Consultant at Imaging at Olympic Park (a specialised MSK imaging and treatment centre) in Melbourne Australia.
Dr Padmanabhan trained in Medicine and Radiology at the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital and has subspecialised fellowship training in MRI in MSK and Neuroradiology. He is a Fellow of the royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and a member of the Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group. He has previously been Director of MRI at Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute Melbourne and Director of Imaging at Asia Medic PET/CT Centre in Singapore. His focus now is providing training and practical hands on radiology education in Spine and MSK imaging and is currently based in Singapore.
